The
Museum of Flight is located south of Seattle, Washington at Boeing Field. As the largest private air and space museum in the world, its more than 85 aircraft range from a primitive Wright brothers' glider to a stealthy "Blackbird" capable of supersonic speeds.
A majority of the aircraft are located in the Great Gallery with smaller themed exhibits located in the WWI, WWII, and Space Galleries. Some of the larger aircraft, such as the British Concorde SST, are on display across the street in the Airpark. By far the most unique exhibit is the "Red Barn" which housed Boeing's original manufacturing facility.
When you visit, be sure to allow an entire day if not two. You will need every minute.
