Blue Springs State Park is located on the St. John's river west of Orange City, Florida. A self-guided boardwalk guides visitors through the dense hammocks to Blue Springs. With a flow over 100 million gallons daily, the spring's warm water is attracting growing numbers of West Indian Manatees during cool winter days. Acting as a safe haven for the manatees, Blue Springs has been designated a manatee refuge.
